Located in Mayfield approx. 0.1 miles west of the Broadalbin town line on Broadalbin's North Main Street Extension. (Also known as Broadalbin Cemetery Road). The proper name for this cemetery is Broadalbin-Mayfield Rural Cemetery. Sections are numbered from 1 on the right side faced from the road through 7 at the far left, with 8 also tucked in on the left and 9 at the far right rear.

Lived in a home made of slabs of wood for which he paid a carpenter - Nicholas Van Vranken - $5.00 "for materials and labor". The doctor raised a family and later died in Broadalbin about 1850. He was the first Broadalbin School Inspector in 4/6/1813. None of his children lived in the area in 1892. He was the first Broadalbin physician. In 1832 he sold land for the new Broadalbin Baptist Church which was started 1/24/1833. Another history claims he was elected to the state assembly in 1810 from Fulton County.

He was a trustee of the Baptist Church of Broadalbin and Mayfield in 1893. Past Master of the Kennyetto Masonic Lodge #599 from 1884 - 1887 and 1889 - 1890. He ran a hardware business begun in 1891. In 1895 he ran the Broadalbin Lumber Company with James Spencer. They bought the Smith saw mill in Fox Hollow in 1905.
