Grandmother Gladys Duesler Jones worked as a glover in Gloversville. She
was the granddaughter of Alonzo Duesler, born in Ephratah and is the descendent of Jacob Duesler, one of two brothers who fought
in the French & Indian War. He also fought with their sons in the Revolutionary war.
Gladys Duesler was born 24 Feb.1907. She was the daughter of Emory J. Duesler & Minnie R.
Wieneke. Emory & Minnie had three children: Gladys, Carl and Leeland Duelser.
Minnie Wieneke Duesler is buried in Prospect View Cemetery, Fulton Co. NY as are her husband Emory and
two sons. Gladys is buried in New York Mills, NY.
Caroline Jordan Wieneke was born 8 Nov. 1843 and died 21 Mar 1927. She was the mother of Minnie Wieneke
Duesler. Caroline and her husband William had six children: William, Mary, Minnie, Henry and Carrie.
Myron Grimshaw is Caroline's grandson. He was born 26 May 1911. He was the son of Charles
and Carrie Wieneke Grimshaw.
