EDWIN P. BURKE
Second vice-president of P. J. Burke & Sons, Inc., general insurance and real estate, was born in Gloversville, February 9,
1898. He was educated in St. Joseph’s Academy and Christian Brothers’ Academy. He went from school into the employ of the company of which he is
now an officer. Mr. Burke served in the United States Army in the World War. He is a member of the Albany Chamber of Commerce; Life and Fire
Underwriters Association and the Knights of Columbus.
JOHN J. BURKE
Secretary of P. J. Burke & Sons, Inc., general insurance and real estate, Albany, was born in Schenectady, August 5, 1894.
He was educated in normal and high schools and then entered the employ of his father, Patrick J. Burke, president of the company of which John is
now secretary. <r. Burke was a member of Troop B, N.G.N.Y., and in the World War served in the United States Engineer Corps. He is a member of
the Knights of Columbus; Life and Fire Underwriters Association; the Albany Chamber of Commerce, and the Albany Lodge of Elks.
PATRICK J. BURKE
President of J. P. Burke & Sons, Inc., real estate and insurance, Albany, was born October 4, 1869. He was educated in
public and high schools and has been thirty years in the insurance business. His company is the general agent of the Maryland Casualty Company and
the Maryland Assurance Corporation. Mr. Burke is active in all movements for the promotion of Albany’s welfare. He is a member of the Albany
Chamber of Commerce, Life and Fire Underwriters Association; Order of Alhambra, and for six years was District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus.
His home address is 12 Buchanan Street, Albany.
THOMAS F. BURKE
